Genoa City Athletic Club – Stephanie and Nate Roleplay Informing Holden About Their Relationship
Nate and Stephanie meet at the Athletic Club. Nate wants to take Stephanie downstairs to the jazz lounge to do some dancing.

Before they head down to the lounge, they grab a table to get some food. Nate has some questions about Holden and Malcolm. Holden might be heading to London to do a photo shoot with Malcolm. Holden was reluctant, but Stephanie thinks she talked him into it.
Nate feels like Stephanie is being a little evasive with him. Stephanie admits that she’s just worried about telling Holden she lied to him about her relationship with Nate.
Their conversation threatens to force them to define their relationship, but Stephanie backs off from it and says she doesn’t need to tell her grown son about her booty call. She offers to drop it entirely, but Nate doesn’t think they should.

Stephanie says she feels like she misled Holden, but Nate doesn’t think that’s fair. This took them both by surprise. Stephanie says if this is going to continue, she has to tell Holden, and Nate suggests they practice the conversation.
Stephanie practices telling Holden that she’s dating Nate, using Nate as a stand-in for Holden. Nate plays along a little too nicely, and Stephanie complains that he wrote a happy ending. She’s sure Holden’s feelings will be complicated. She’s concerned because Holden and Nate have had their own tensions. Nate suggests that maybe he should be the one to talk to Holden.
Stephanie poses as Holden for this conversation, letting Nate try out his side of the conversation. Stephanie’s version of Holden is far less easy-going than Nate’s version. Stephanie calls the scene early and Nate complains that she didn’t answer his request for a clean slate, but Stephanie says that’s because she doesn’t know what Holden would say to that.

Stephanie thinks it’s best not to bother Holden with this now. They can take some time to explore their relationship while Holden’s in London.
Stephanie praises Nate for his improved skill with his non-dominant hand and Nate says he’s practically ambidextrous now.
