Days of Our Lives spoilers for Friday, October 16, 2026, bring trouble for Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) after Brady (Eric Martsolf) learns the truth about her involvement in the attack on Johnny. Now furious with Kristen, Brady may have to make some difficult decisions about their daughter, Rachel (Lorelei Olivia Mote).

Meanwhile, Kristen sneaks back into Salem to see Rachel, Sophia (Rachel Boyd) makes a secret return, Lani (Sal Stowers) gets an unexpected job offer, and Johnny (Carson Boatman) steps up to help Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer).

Marlena Cautions Brady

Brady knew something was up the second Kristen started acting real weird. He figured out she was running from EJ, but he had no idea why—until now.

Brady just found out that Kristen is the one who pushed Sophia to attack Johnny, practically trying to murder her own nephew. For Brady, that is officially crossing the line. Now, he’s ready to keep her far, far away from their daughter. He is fuming mad after learning the truth, but thank goodness Marlena (Deidre Hall) is right there to keep him steady. The good doctor urges him to play it smart and be cautious when dealing with Kristen.

Kristen and Sophia Sneak Back Into Salem

Speaking of Kristen, she gets word about what’s going on with Rachel, and being the protective mom she is, she refuses to stay away—EJ be damned! She sneaks right back into Salem to see her little girl. Will she get caught? That’s the million-dollar question, but she’s not the only blast from the past rolling back into town.

So is Sophia! Everyone thinks she’s dead, but she was actually down in Paducah living it up as “Amelia.”

Now, she wants every single penny Kristen promised her, and the only way to collect is by heading back to Salem. She’s back on home turf, but she hasn’t ditched her red hair or that southern accent. Can she really stay under the radar while she waits around for her big payout?

Lani’s Big Job Offer and Sarah’s Battle with EJ

Over at the Salem PD, Lani is in for a massive surprise after getting some shocking news earlier in the week. The police commissioner, Jada (Elia Cantu), drops by to offer Lani her old job back—will she take it?

Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives spoilers for October 16 reveal that Johnny steps up to help Sarah and Xander expose the truth. Sarah knows she didn’t do it, Xander knows it, and Johnny definitely knows it, too. That’s why Johnny already went straight to the DA and the police commissioner to drop the truth about his dad.

The only problem? EJ is denying the whole thing. That leaves Sarah trapped in a total nightmare unless something major breaks open to expose EJ’s lies. Thank goodness Johnny was involved, knows the real story, and is ready to blow the whole thing wide open!
