The Young and the Restless Week of October 19 Update: Abby Schooled, Chelsea Stunned, Nick’s Interrogation

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of October 19-23 indicates that Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) will learn about the past thanks to a couple of knowledgeable family members.

Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will also be thrown for a loop. Y&R fans will see Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) face a grilling session too, so let’s talk about what’s in store.

For starters, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) wedding will be everything they dreamed it would be.

Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) will fly in for the ceremony after all, so Sally’s heart will be extra full with “Grams” there to give her away.

Unfortunately, Sally’s bridal bliss won’t last since she’ll go into labor up in her suite.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be there when it happens and seems poised to get a heroic moment where he helps her give birth.

After Billy and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) receive alarming news about Jill’s heart emergency over the phone, they may realize they need to get to London and support her ASAP.

It’ll be particularly important for Billy to see Jill and try to repair their relationship while it’s still possible.

However, Billy may be in for a rude awakening when he finds Sally with Adam.

The baby may have already been born by then, so stay tuned for Billy’s shocked reaction.

Of course, Chelsea will get a shock of her own when she realizes Adam stepped up for Sally during her delivery.

Adam may fixate on Sally and her baby even more after this, so Chelsea may end up concerned.

As for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll pass along some guidance to Adam.

Victor may sense Adam’s obsession with Sally and her little one as well, so he may push Adam not to ruin things with Chelsea.

Across town, Abby will get schooled on what we can assume is some Abbott family history.

Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will be the ones giving this lesson, so they may share things from before Abby was born.

Other Y&R spoilers say Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will get her next round of test results, but reading them may be easier with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) there to support her this time.

Once Nick makes sure Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is checked in at his new psychiatric facility, he may once again pressure Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to skip being his therapist.

Sharon may think it’s a bad idea to make promises she doesn’t keep.

Since Sharon said she’d at least try to help Matt through therapy sessions, she’ll presumably want to stick to her word.

Back with Victor, he’ll back Nick into a corner and grill him. Nick may face questions about Matt’s situation along with the trouble Nick’s still in with the cops over Joe (Chris Grant Wenchell), who wants him to pay.

Elsewhere, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will decide to do things differently when it comes to an enemy.

It sounds like Nikki may realize she’s been letting Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) get under her skin too much.

Nikki may back off their feud, but that’s just going to make it easier for Diane to force Vibrante into a crisis!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane may deliver some crushing blows that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) won’t approve of as this storyline moves along.
