General Hospital: Is Esme Prince Returning to GH for Scheming Family Reunion with Heather Webber?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the cast announcements just keep coming on the ABC soap.

The news recently spilled that Alley Mills will be returning to GH as Heather Webber, so we have to consider the possibility that her daughter, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), might follow.

There’s no confirmation on whether Esme might resurface in Port Charles, but it’s an interesting possibility to mull over.

Esme was presumed dead after falling into the Seine, but there’s never been any hard evidence that she’s actually gone for good.

Soapy grim fates don’t usually stick anyway, especially not when the character involved is a schemer who could be used to cause more drama.

Esme would certainly fit into that category, so what if the show plans to launch her comeback, too?

Heather got a redemption storyline, but now might be a good time to just throw that out the window and let her plot with Esme.

A mother-daughter reunion could be brewing depending on what GH writers have in mind.

Heather was moving to Sedona with Steven Webber (Scott Reeves) the last time fans saw her, but that was back in 2024.

At this point, Heather could be deranged again and plotting more destruction, especially if Esme secretly tracked her mom down.

On the other hand, maybe Esme and Heather haven’t reconnected yet. The show might be saving that for when Heather kicks off her November return stint.

Whatever the case, Heather was eager to have a real bond with Esme, but their chance at one never really panned out.

Perhaps Heather could ultimately get an opportunity to bond with Esme after all, even if that means stirring up trouble as a team.

Between trying to get Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kieran Barry) back and plotting against old enemies, there would be plenty for Esme and Heather to do together.

It’s worth mentioning that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has a mystery stalker, so there’s room for Heather, Esme or both to be part of that storyline.

Regardless, Heather obviously doesn’t have many connections left in PC, so it might be smart for the show to revive Esme and use the twist to their advantage.

Esme last appeared in Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) dream in 2025, but could she return for real this time around?
