Diddly Squat now has its own rose—and Lisa Hogan planted it herself.

Jeremy Clarkson’s farming empire has officially branched out into gardening, with the launch of the “Diddly Squat Farm Rosé Rose” — the first product from a brand-new three-year partnership between Diddly Squat Farm and Blue Diamond Garden Centres.
The exclusive rose was unveiled earlier this year at the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show, offering fans an early preview of the collaboration before it was officially announced. Bred by renowned rose specialists Rosen Tantau, the flower is a fragrant floribunda variety, producing sun-kissed apricot-orange blooms in generous clusters on a sturdy, upright bush — described as ideal for borders and pots, and blooming right through the summer.

It was Lisa Hogan, co-founder of Diddly Squat Farm Shop, who had the honor of personally christening the new rose, marking her latest venture beyond the farm shop’s food and drink lines. “We are thrilled to have found a partner as passionate about nature as we are,” Hogan said of the collaboration, “and it has been an absolute pleasure getting to know the Blue Diamond team. I look forward to learning a lot more in the coming months as we spread the joy of Diddly Squat Farm around the country with our collaborative range of gardening products.”

Blue Diamond’s chief executive Alan Roper was equally enthusiastic, describing the partnership as a natural match between two brands united by a genuine passion for growing. “Diddly Squat Farm has captured the imagination of millions through its authenticity in portraying the challenges that British farmers face, whilst maintaining a sense of humour,” Roper said. “Our customers share the same passion for growing and joy of outdoor spaces, and this collaboration gives us the opportunity to offer a truly distinctive range of products that reflect those qualities.”

The rose is just the beginning. According to both companies, a broader programme of co-branded gardening products is planned to roll out later this year, with the full range set to be available online, across Blue Diamond’s 54 garden centres nationwide, and in Diddly Squat Farm Shops themselves.
It’s the latest sign of just how far the Diddly Squat brand has expanded beyond its Amazon Prime roots — from potatoes and honesty boxes to food, drink, puzzles, and now, roses bearing its own name. For fans of the show, it’s proof that whatever chaos unfolds on screen, the brand behind it keeps finding new, unexpected ways to grow.
