Watch as Jeremy Clarkson make surprise return to Grand Tour just MINUTES into reboot… as new hosts stumble into his pub

eremy, 66, hosted the hit Prime Video series alongside James May and Richard Hammond from 2016 to 2024, with the trio bowing out in their One for the Road special.

It was announced in February this year that James Engelsman, Thomas Holland and Francis Bourgeois would be taking over as the new hosts of The Grand Tour, and fans have finally had chance to see them in action.

As the first new episodes dropped on Prime Video, the series opened with James, Thomas and Francis driving in the English countryside, before the familiar sign of Jeremy’s pub, The Farmer’s Dog, came into view.
The new hosts pulled up in their cars and headed into the large tent which sits next to the pub, and is where Jeremy sells produce from his Diddly Squat farm and other local producers.

The huge tent was originally used for The Grand Tour, and the sign is still visible inside.
Spotting Jeremy, they approached and he asked: “How can I help you?”

The guys asked if they could borrow the tent for the show, and in his typical deadpan manner, Jeremy says: “Not really.
“I mean you could, but it’s got a butchers…I mean I want to help but it’s been repurposed.”
However, the scene ended with Jeremy giving the newbies some words of encouragement.

He said: “Seriously, have fun with this. I mean it. And don’t f*** it up.”
Jeremy then tells the audience: “I have been watching what they have been up to and I think you are going to love it.”
Indeed, The Sun had an exclusive chat with Executive producer Andy Wilman, the man who created the hit Prime Video show with his old school pal and he said: “Jeremy said he’d ‘only endorse them as long as I like them’.
“So he watches the tapes and he’s like, ‘Yes, I really like them. I’m happy to endorse’.
“There’s no way he’d endorse someone for a show he helped to create if he didn’t like them. He wouldn’t. He was on the front foot as soon as he saw them.”
