Jeremy Clarkson was dealt a brutal blow months after one diner was left unimpressed.

The Farmer’s Dog has seen a sharp rise in thieves
Jeremy Clarkson has been dealt a brutal blow after a fan visited his Cotswold pub and took to social media to complain, issuing a damning verdict against the presenter’s pub prices. In 2024, the Clarkson’s Farm star opened the Farmer’s Dog, and as the opening and the journey leading up to it featured on his hit Prime Video series, the pub has attracted millions of fans. Located in Asthall, near Burford in Oxfordshire, the business is supported by many, as Jeremy has stocked it exclusively with British-grown or reared produce.
Now, one unhappy guest has vowed to take home an unapproved souvenir after being unimpressed with the bill, after announcing, “I’m keeping the glass!” A photo of the bill and and an empty glass revealed the guest had spent a total of £317.36, after enjoying two mixed roast and a roast beef meal costing £26 each.

They opted for sides such as cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets for £6 each, before ending their meal with three plates of Eton Mess costing £12. This is in addition to several drinks and two sharing boards.
Issuing the statement on X/Twitter, the diner shared: “I’m keeping the glass! Went to Jeremy Clarkson‘s pub, The Farmers Dog, for Sunday lunch. There were 4 of us, this is how much it cost.”
Other fans were also left shocked by the astonishing lunch bill and took to the comments to react, as one remarked: “If he wasn’t Jeremy Clarkson, nobody would eat or drink with those prices.”
A second complained: “Eating out is rapidly becoming unaffordable. It’s not really a viable way of making money anymore; they have to charge such crazy money because the cost of everything keeps going up. There’ll come a tipping point where customers will just say f**k that, I’m not paying that. The end.”
