The Young and the Restless Week of September 28 Preview: Sally’s Baby Gender Reveal – Diane Battles Nikki Over Jack
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) preview video for the week of September 28-October 2 reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will face questions about their baby’s gender.
Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) are also gearing up for some tense moments that’ll involve more than just their business rivalry.
Y&R’s weekly promo kicks off with Sally and Billy at Society, where Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) admits she heard they were waiting to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl.
Although Billy will claim that’s true, he’ll smile along with Sally and leave Abby thinking they’re holding out on her.
Abby will get the feeling that Sally and Billy know the answer already, so she’ll pump them for more info.
It’s possible Billy and Sally will confess that they got too impatient.
Maybe Sally and Billy already know whether they’re having a son or daughter, but they might insist on keeping the baby gender reveal news to themselves until after the birth.
Next, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will spot Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and assume some sort of scheme is brewing.
It’ll lead to Nick grilling Phyllis alone and demanding to know what that meeting was about.
Phyllis will try to play dumb, but Nick will refuse to let her and will demand to know what she’s up to.
If it involves Cane, Nick will assume it can only lead to trouble!
Y&R fans will also see a serious faceoff between Diane and Nikki, which will bring Diane’s declaration that she’s more than capable of defending what’s hers.
“Are we still talking about your company? I didn’t think so. This is going to be a battle,” Nikki warns Diane in the show’s weekly preview video.
In other words, Diane’s desire to go up against Nikki will be about more than protecting Jabot from Vibrante.
Diane will want Nikki to know that she’s protecting her marriage to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as well, so she’ll throw down the gauntlet and get Nikki’s fierce response.
This Vibrante and Jabot rivalry will come with some curveballs in the months ahead, so don’t miss all the shockers and escalating hostility.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki and Diane will strike some low blows, but that’s to be expected whenever there’s Newman-Abbott conflict!
