Steve Surprises Cat With Unexpected Support
Cat Greene has been walking a tightrope in Salem! Working undercover as an ISA agent to get the goods on EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is tough enough on its own, but doing it while secretly catching real feelings for the target makes her mission practically impossible.
To make matters worse, Cat’s entry into town under the fake identity of Steve Johnson’s back-from-the-dead niece didn’t do her any favors with the locals. While plenty of Salemites have surprisingly let bygones be bygones and forgiven her, another huge surprise is headed her way!
Steve knows a thing or two about going undercover, living a lie, and walking that tricky line between duty and personal feelings. According to Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, October 19, Steve surprises Cat by offering her some understanding!
Johnny Fires George, Sending Him Running to EJ!
Meanwhile, Johnny is done waiting around and is taking drastic action to bring the truth to light! After already going to the police with what he knows about his father’s cover-up, Johnny makes his next bold power move at DiMera Enterprises by firing George O’Halloran.
Naturally, George isn’t about to take getting the boot sitting down! Furious over Johnny’s move, George runs straight to EJ to complain that his own son just kicked him to the curb.
At the same time, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is thrilled to be rid of EJ! Given everything happening with her colleague Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and EJ’s endless trail of chaos, Kayla feels there is nothing that would serve her better than having him completely out of her hair—and honestly, nobody can blame her!
Kristen and Rachel Share an Emotional Hospital Reunion
Over at the hospital, Rachel finally gets the one thing she has wanted more than anything since being admitted: her mother!
Kristen and Rachel share a deeply emotional reunion as the mother-daughter duo embraces. However, Brady is not happy about it. After everything he learned about Kristen using Sophia (Rachel Boyd) in a plot to murder her own nephew, Brady is putting his foot down! He wants Kristen nowhere near their daughter, but with Rachel clinging to her mom, getting Kristen to walk away is going to be an absolute battle.
Will Brady and Kristen be able to see eye-to-eye for Rachel’s sake, or is a custody war about to explode right inside the hospital walls? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
