The Young and the Restless Tuesday, October 20 Update: Matt Locked Away – Adam Saves The Day

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, October 20, indicate that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will head to a psychiatric hospital as planned, but the drama isn’t over yet.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also come through for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) when it counts, so Y&R fans won’t want to miss all the excitement.

For starters, there’ll be some dramatic scenes in Sally’s suite thanks to her water breaking.

Adam will provide some emergency help to Sally while she’s in labor and may have to deliver the baby if no one else makes it up there in time.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be downstairs focused on Snapper Foster’s (David Hasselhoff) troubling news regarding Jill Abbott (last played by Lauren Koslow), who was rushed to the hospital over another cardiac crisis.

Billy and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will discuss what to do once they hear the latest Jill details.

Cane and Billy might decide it’s time to catch a flight to London ASAP, especially if Snapper admits Jill’s survival isn’t guaranteed.

Since Billy and Jill haven’t really made amends yet, he’ll be especially worried about the possibility of her passing away before he can fix things between them.

Billy may resolve to visit Jill while he still has the chance, but that’s when he may learn Sally’s having a crisis of her own.

Will Adam and Sally be sharing beautiful little moment over the baby by the time Billy finally pops up?

At Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) house, she’ll fill Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) in on all the latest Matt chaos.

Mariah may agree with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about it being too risky for Sharon to serve as Matt’s therapist.

Over with Nick, he’ll take charge of the next Matt steps.

Matt was OK with heading to a mental health clinic as long as Sharon agreed to oversee his therapy, so Nick will make sure he’s locked away.

From there, Nick will get pushy with Sharon again about an important decision.

Sharon could still change her mind and opt out of being Matt’s therapist, so that may be what Nick and Mariah urge her to do.

However, Sharon may stand her ground on at least trying to be the one to help Matt since that’s what she promised him.

If it doesn’t work out, Matt’s willing to let a different therapist take over his sessions.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will have a bad feeling about this arrangement, so stay tuned for any disasters to come!
