It is officially holiday movie season! Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas continues with its second weekend of all-new premieres, bringing plenty of festive cheer to keep viewers in the holiday spirit.
What is Winter Wonderlanes About?
The holiday film centers around Audrey Bell (played by Janelle Newbrough), a globe-trotting pop-up restaurateur who returns home for Thanksgiving. Upon her arrival, she receives shocking news: her late grandfather’s beloved bowling alley, Wonderlanes, is on the verge of being sold.
Determined to honor her grandfather’s memory, Audrey agrees to stay for one last festive season at Wonderlanes. She decides to revive its iconic Winter Wonderlanes youth bowling tournament to bring the community together.
To drum up publicity for the big event, Audrey reluctantly joins forces with local news reporter Jason Miller (Franco LoPresti)—who also happens to be her high school ex-boyfriend!
Working side by side, the embers of their past begin to flicker, rekindling deep feelings they thought were long gone. As the tournament date approaches, Audrey finds herself questioning her next career move, which would take her far away from the town and people she loves. She must decide whether she is ready to walk away from Wonderlanes for good—or finally put down roots where her heart truly belongs.
