General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny and Ric’s Shocking Jude Discovery, Hudson Briefcase Bug Pays Off
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will count on Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) to come through with more information on Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel).
Since Ric planted a listening device in Hudson’s briefcase, that should lead to him uncovering some big news and passing it along to Sonny.
Hudson works for someone mysterious and has been talking with this person over the phone.
It makes sense that Jude (Wil Traval) is the GH character who Hudson has been taking orders from and reporting back to.
Since Jude is now in Port Charles, it’s just a matter of time until he has a face-to-face meeting with Hudson.
Jude may want to complain since Hudson didn’t do what was previously asked of him,
Hudson was supposed to convince Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to turn down the JJE CEO seat, but he was unsuccessful.
Of course, that’s because the WSB forced Josslyn to accept the job, which Joss ultimately saw the benefits of when she started using it to target Sonny.
Jude may reprimand Hudson for not doing what he was told, but Hudson may argue that Josslyn’s agenda is actually profitable for the company.
Even so, Jude apparently won’t approve of Josslyn being in charge and may make it clear that she must be eliminated from her current role one way or another.
Since Ric planted that bug, he may become privy to Jude and Hudson’s upcoming confrontation.
That could lead to Ric realizing that Jude is the real enemy to be concerned about here.
Sonny may end up worried for Josslyn’s life once he gets the scoop on Hudson’s boss and his desire to push Joss out of the picture.
This could be a game-changing discovery that leaves Sonny wondering how he can protect his former stepdaughter when Josslyn is so fixated on using JJE to bring him down.
Staying in that JJE position may be the very thing that puts Josslyn’s life at risk!
Whatever the case, the listening device should help Ric and ultimately Sonny get a better idea of who’s running the show here.
Hudson seemingly reports to Jude, so that’ll be important intel for Sonny and Ric.
If Jude is really Jerry Jacks (last played by Sebastian Roche) like the show’s been suggesting, that’ll be another revelation for Ric and Sonny to face as this storyline moves along.
