The Young and the Restless’ Jason Thompson Leaks Adam’s Baby Ruby Obsession, What’s Next in Sally Story

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) delivered Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) baby, it brought some special scenes between these exes.4However, Adam isn’t going to just step aside now that he’s shared such a powerful moment of connection with Sally and her newborn daughter.

In an interview with SOD, Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott) opened up about the exciting storyline he’s currently involved in.

Thompson feels “very lucky to be in the middle of a storm like this” and knows it could affect things for many years to come.

Thompson also reflected on Adam’s role in bringing this baby into the world and called it “kind of the worst-case scenario.”

This is going to be something that’s always haunting Billy in the back of his mind.

Since Billy still blames Adam for what happened to Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono), he certainly didn’t want Adam being the first person to hold little Ruby Spectra-Abbott.

Nevertheless, that’s exactly what happened when Ruby arrived sooner than expected in Sally’s suite at the GCAC. Adam became a crucial part of the birth, so that news is going to have a big impact moving forward.

Sally will always be grateful that Adam was there for her, so that could bring some conflict with Billy as this storyline moves along.

That’s especially true since it sounds like Adam’s going to develop a bit of a Ruby obsession.

“Adam does everything he can to stay in the picture — and obviously, that is the exact opposite of the situation Billy wanted to find himself in.

Billy just wants Adam to go away, but he continues to show up and it really starts to affect Billy,” Thompson said about the story developments ahead.

Thompson also predicted that Adam and Ruby would have a bond that could last well into the future.

The Y&R star suggested that years down the line, Billy’s daughter may turn to Adam for guidance instead of her own father.
