The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show is shifting gears and creating an uproar on social media. There’s one storyline that’s been undergoing some unpopular changes, so we should address B&B fans’ complaints.
When the conflict between Logan and Forrester Creations first kicked off, it had a ton of potential.
Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) had been mistreated at Forrester, so it was easy to root for her when Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) gave her a fashion house of her own.
Unfortunately, three rewrites are ruining this major B&B storyline, so many viewers are getting fed up with the new direction.
Let’s talk about those rewrites and why they don’t make any sense.
1) Katie is being portrayed as a vengeful monster
For starters, the show’s leaning into Katie’s vengeful side and making her seem like the big bad wolf.
However, this all started because the Forresters shoved Katie aside and hired an outside PR firm without even consulting her.
Katie’s initial motive was more about stepping out of Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) shadow and embracing Bill’s wedding gift.
It was a chance for Katie to have something of her own and find success since the Forresters didn’t really care about her.
Unfortunately, the writers are making it look like Katie’s Forrester attacks are all about getting back at Brooke over past mistakes.
Instead of focusing on Logan’s bright future, this has become more about Brooke’s takedown.
2) Brooke is pushing for peace and love
Of course, we can’t ignore the huge change in Brooke’s part in all this.
Brooke’s acting like she’s the bigger person who wants to restore peace with her sister, but she’s the one who flat-out kicked Katie out of the family!
Why is Brooke suddenly trying to pull Katie into hugs and pretend she wants her sis back?
The writers apparently want Brooke to be more of a victim now, so they’re pretending she’s the wounded sibling while Katie’s the real problem.
3) Bill has gone soft on the Forresters
The most ridiculous change of all in this storyline is perhaps Bill listening to Brooke and urging Katie to ease up on the Forresters.
In what universe would the real “Dollar Bill” ever take this stance?
It wasn’t that long ago that Bill was trashing Brooke for not supporting Katie and celebrating Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) downfall.
Plenty of fans would like to have that Bill back instead of this bizarre pod person who’s replaced him!
