The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Ruby’s Medical Emergency, Sally Panics Over Sudden Health Crisis?

Sally Spectra-Abbott (Courtney Hope) may find herself terrified if Ruby suddenly gets sick and faces a potentially serious diagnosis.
Although Sally went into early labor in less-than-ideal circumstances, Ruby was perfect when she arrived.
Sally and the baby got checked out at the hospital, but there weren’t any major issues to keep them there long.
However, that hasn’t stopped Sally from worrying about the possibility of another tragedy.
After losing Ava Spectra-Newman, Sally is scared of losing Ruby too and recently needed some support from Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to deal with her fear.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is also feeling overprotective of Ruby based on his comments in Y&R’s October 27 episode.
Adam couldn’t help but fret over whether it was OK for Ruby to be outside strolling around when she’s this little, but Sally assured him she got the pediatrician’s approval.
Will all these fears about Ruby set the stage for a medical emergency?
Considering most soap babies go through one sooner or later, it’s probably wise to prepare for Ruby to do the same.
That’s especially true since Ruby had zero medical problems when she came into the world. It all feels a bit too easy, so maybe this is the calm before the storm.
Even if Sally and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) get a brief chapter of happiness with healthy Ruby, she could develop a problem later that leaves them both on edge.
Billy has already lost a daughter of his own, so he’ll be just as worried as Sally if a Ruby issue arises.
Between what happened to Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) and what happened to Ava, both Billy and Sally may wind up scared out of their minds.
Adam will be scared as well if a Ruby medical ordeal is on the horizon.
It could highlight just how attached Adam is to the baby and leave Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) unsettled.
Although Ruby would hopefully be just fine in the end, a health scare could shake things up and provide some gripping material as this storyline moves forward.
