General Hospital star Rory Gibson (Michael Corinthos) and his real-life wife, Alicia Ruelas, just enjoyed the trip of a lifetime! The newlyweds jetted off to Indonesia for a dream honeymoon, and judging by their photos, the trip was pure paradise.
Gibson—who previously played Noah Newman on The Young and the Restless—shared a two-part Instagram carousel giving fans a look inside their romantic getaway.
The couple went all out to celebrate their new union, enjoying everything from waterfront sunset relaxation and local market shopping to a cliffside temple overlook. Their hotel even pulled out all the stops for their arrival, setting up their bed with folded towel swans and leaf lettering spelling out “HAPPY HONEYMOON.” The adventure didn’t stop there—the pair also went mangrove kayaking, enjoyed romantic candlelit dinners, and soaked in every moment together.
A Love Story 15 Years in the Making
Gibson and Ruelas got engaged back in October 2022 after dating for over a decade. The long-time partners officially tied the knot on July 11, 2026, exchanging heartfelt handwritten vows in an intimate ceremony on the North Shore of Kauai, Hawaii. Following their island nuptials, they headed home to Los Angeles for a larger reception with family and friends on July 16.
After 15 years together, the high school sweethearts made things official and formally introduced themselves to fans on social media as “THE GIBSONS.”
Away From Port Charles
Just like his real-life portrayer, Michael Corinthos is currently away from home on screen! Michael recently stepped away from Port Charles to accompany Jordan (Tanisha Harper) to Germany, where she is meeting with a specialist for facial reconstruction surgery—the exact same procedure Michael once went through himself.
