Meghan Markle humiliated in devastating Jeremy Clarkson blow – she’ll be fuming

The Duchess of Sussex has already ruffled some feathers after her first public outing since moving back to Blighty.

Meghan Markle has suffered another major blow from Jeremy Clarkson
Meghan Markle has suffered another devastating blow as she attempts to adjust to British life. Last week, the Duchess of Sussex made her first public outing in the UK when she paid a visit to a Cotswold pub with her A-lister pal, Ellen DeGeneres. The duo snubbed Jeremy Clarkson’s popular watering hole for an afternoon at The Three Hourshoes near Burford, Oxfordshire. It’s not known whether Meghan consciously chose a different location to swerve the Clarkson’s Farm star, instead opting for the rival eatery a mere 20 minutes away from the Amazon Prime public house.

The TV presenter has several famous faces on his banned list
Now, it appears that the mum-of-two could be facing the consequences of her actions after Express readers warned that she may be at risk of being banned from the luxury establishment. With 4,140 readers voting, over 91% said yes when asked whether the former Top Gear host should be added to the banned list.
Only 7% voted for no, with a remainding 2% simply admitting they didn’t know either way. It should be no surprise, of course – Clarkson famously wrote that he “hates” Meghan “on a cellular level”.
In his 2022 Sun column, he said he is “dreaming of the day” she is “made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her”. He later apologised, insisting the words were a “clumsy reference” to a Game of Thrones scene.
It’s safe to say there’s no love lost between Clarkson and Meghan. Should she make the list, she will be in interesting company, excluded alongside his former co-star James May and Richard Hammond and former Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer.
It comes as the Duchess makes an effort to reconnect with her Hollywood pals after returning to the UK for the first time in six years. She suffered another blow earlier this week when her former Hollywood agent briefly spoke about their working relationship ending.
In 2025, Ari Emanuel confirmed that his agency, William Morrie Endeavour (WME), had quietly ended its representation for Markle after two years. In a new interview with The Sunday Times, the executive chairman expressed relief at no longer being responsible for managing Meghan. “Here’s the great thing, I don’t have to think about that anymore,” he said.
Reacting to the latest developments, broadcaster Dee Dee Dunleavy believes the latest developments prove that no one in Hollywood wants to be associated with Meghan, 45, anymore. “It’s really interesting because he’s one of the biggest power players in Hollywood.
“So, he’s used to dealing with all sorts of difficult characters as you can imagine,” she told Rita Panahi on News24, formerly Sky News Australia. Following reports that WME dropped Meghan in early 2025, insiders revealed that she was “too demanding” and “difficult to work with.”
