Bold & Beautiful Bedlam: Brooke’s Twisted Next Move Will Leave You Speechless… or Screaming at Your Screen
We know the way Brooke’s mind works on Bold & Beautiful, and it’s safe to say we’re headed for absolute disaster as her plan to deal with Katie makes things much, much worse!
Brooke took her self-delusion to new levels in Monday’s episode, when she told Ridge that she was tired of being the “bigger person” in this battle with Katie. We had to pause and wonder if we were hearing her right considering that we’ve sat through her making nasty accusations of her sister, slapping her, breaking a TV screen at her place of business, disowning her from the family, and as the situation developed, berating Hope so badly that she collapsed on the runway! At what point was she being the bigger person?!
Anywho… in Brooke’s mind, she’s been above reproach, we suppose. Things move differently in there, because we’re also sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that she took Ridge’s warning that they need to do “whatever it takes” to stop Logan from destroying Forrester as a license to wreak total havoc… and we’re sure he’s going to end up regretting having uttered those words.
In Brooke logic, Katie’s left her no choice but to do the very thing that she believes started all of this in the first place: Using her feminine wiles on Bill behind her back. For most of us, this would be the last move we’d make, knowing it would make the already dire situation a thousand times worse. We might even call it twisted. But not Brooke. In her mind, it’s all justified… especially since Ridge gave her the green light!
The issue is that Brooke won’t stop until she’s prevailed, which means she could go as far as to “steal” Bill away from Katie to prove a point.
Ridge, of course, will be an after thought given he’s so easily convinced to forgive her time and again. And has it even occurred to Brooke that if she manages to “stop” Logan, she’ll be derailing her own daughter’s success? Again, it’s all justified for someone who sees themself as an eternal victim. So, look out, SOAPS readers. Brooke’s next moves will undoubtedly leave you stunned speechless or screaming at your TV.
