The Young and the Restless Early Holiday Season Preview Promises Miracles, Suspense and More
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that October isn’t over yet, but it’s never too early to start thinking about the holidays in Genoa City.
The cast and crew are already hard at work on Christmas-themed episodes that’ll air this December on the CBS soap.
After some behind-the-scenes content leaked on social media, Jamey Giddens decided to comment.
Of course, most fans know by now that Giddens and Dan O’Connor are the new co-head writers who have taken over writing duties following Josh Griffith’s exit.
O’Connor and Giddens’ work hasn’t officially made it to the screen, but that’s going to change in the very near future.
November 11 is when the new writing duo’s work will debut, so Giddens highlighted that airdate in his post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Giddens also offered some hints about what’s ahead over the holidays in Genoa City.
Let’s look at the clues Giddens offered since he’s definitely making some big promises about what’s in store.
“Ho! Ho! Ho! @oconnordanj & I penned (and Sally McDonald masterfully produced) a holiday season full of miracles, romance, suspense, and intrigue. It all kicks off 11/11/26. #StayTuned #YR,” Giddens said.
Some screenshots were also shared from a set video that showed who’ll be attending the Abbott family celebration.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will bring his new wife, Sally Spectra-Abbott (Courtney Hope), to the gathering.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will be on hand for the festivities, too.
Naturally, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will be in charge of hosting the party at the Abbott mansion.
Dominic Winters (Ethan Ray Clark) will come with Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Winters (Bryton James) to the bash, so that’ll give their son a chance to bond with Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell), who is also featured in the early Christmas leak.
The Abbott house looks gorgeous all decked out for the holidays.
The same goes for the Newman ranch, where a family celebration will ultimately be held as well.
Halloween is just around the corner, but then it’ll be time to gear up for Thanksgiving and eventually Christmas fun in Genoa City.
It’s nice to get this sneak peek at what’s happening behind the scenes on Y&R and have something to look forward to!
