The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers Friday, October 23: Steffy’s Baby Heartbeat – Katie’s Rage Gets Even Worse

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, October 23, reveal that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will land in another tight spot when it comes to the baby she’s carrying.

Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) will also deal with some worsening anger when it comes to Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).

At the hospital, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) just insisted on a blood test, which confirmed Steffy is indeed pregnant.

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) keeps playing up what an incredible gift this is since he’s trying to help Steffy do damage control.

Daphne Walton (Murielle Hilaire) is also over the moon and has been defending Steffy, but Finn will remain upset on Friday’s episode.

Finn was no doubt hoping the procedure wasn’t successful since he doesn’t agree with Steffy’s decision to be the egg donor and surrogate.

Finn doesn’t realize this baby was actually conceived right after his fight in Monaco with Steffy.

Carter and Steffy have been trying to cover up their mistake ever since, but that’ll get tougher on Friday’s show.

B&B spoilers say Li and Finn will take their pregnancy investigation a step further.

It looks like Li will use a handheld fetal heart monitor to see if she can detect the baby’s heartbeat right there in Finn’s office.

It’s too soon for that considering Steffy supposedly just had the procedure done, but Li will apparently think it’s a reasonable thing to do anyway.

Nothing about this storyline makes sense, so this may be one of those things we’ll just have to roll with!

Of course, the timing could raise more red flags for Finn and Li. Will Li and Finn start to realize Steffy could be further along than they thought?

Then again, soap time works differently than real time, so we’ll see if Steffy and Carter can find some way to talk their way out of trouble.

This seems like a storyline that’s just getting started, so Carter and Steffy presumably won’t get caught just yet.

At Logan, Katie will grow increasingly furious with Brooke, so she may call Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) out for switching teams in her eyes.

Bill may have to settle his wife down and convince her that he’s still Team Katie.

Whether the news of Bill and Brooke’s meeting leaks or not, Katie’s feud with Brooke is only going to get worse from here.
