The Young and the Restless Thursday, October 22 Recap: Sally Pushes Billy to Go – Nick and Victor Worry

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Thursday, October 22, reveals that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will make a move that surprises Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Sally Spectra-Abbott (Courtney Hope) will also find out what Billy has been keeping from her, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

At the GCAC, Adam will open up to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) about the joy of delivering Ruby Spectra-Abbott and how it’s mixed with grief over losing his own baby girl.

Chelsea will console Adam and agree to go with him when he says he wants to visit Sally as well as Ruby.

At home, Billy and Sally will settle in with their newborn before she finally gets him to admit what he’s been hiding.

Once Billy explains about Jill Abbott’s (last played by Lauren Koslow) heart attack, Sally will push him to pack a bag immediately and fly to London.

Billy will be reluctant to leave Sally and Ruby right now, but he’ll agree to at least think about it.

There’ll also be some talk about Adam delivering the baby and the complicated feelings that’s stirred up for Billy.

Once Chelsea and Adam arrive, they’ll gush over Ruby and hand over a GCAC onesie as a gift.

Billy will ultimately shake Adam’s hand and thank him for being the hero who helped bring Ruby into the world.

After Adam and Chelsea take off, Sally will let Billy know she appreciated that handshake.

Billy will acknowledge that he can’t be mad at Adam for what he did and will acknowledge that it must’ve been painful considering what happened with Baby Ava.

At the Newman ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will speak with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about Jill’s ordeal before talk turns to Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Nick will admit Matt slipped inside Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) trunk to get on the property and then scared her at the cottage.

Nick will also explain that Matt had some sort of breakdown and pushed Sharon to be his therapist at the psychiatric ward, where he voluntarily checked in.

Victor will have concerns about Matt potentially checking himself out and what Nick might do to him.

At Society, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will shock Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) with the news that Adam delivered Sally’s baby at the athletic club.

Both Nikki and Victoria will show sympathy for Adam over the loss of Ava.

As for Victoria’s feelings regarding Billy’s marriage to Sally and new baby, she’ll assure Nikki that she’s moved on.

Nikki will wonder if that means Victoria is seeing someone, but she’ll cover by acting like she was talking about Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).

Once Victor shows up, he’ll find out about Adam pitching in on Sally’s delivery. There’ll be more talk about how dire Jill’s situation is as well.

Victor will ultimately push Victoria to fly to London right away and close a deal they’ve been working on.

Victoria will step outside and text “Boris” aka Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to see how he’d feel about meeting up in London.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle and Victoria will be playing with fire when they take this trip, so stay tuned.
