Wait, Is That Really… ?!? Yep! See Bold & Beautiful’s Harrison Cone as You Never Have Before — and May Never Again
Few and far between are the actors who don’t have a scary movie listed among the credits on their IMDb page. Everyone from Young & Restless Emmy winner Eileen Davidson (Ashley) to General Hospital fave Rick Hearst (Ric), from Beyond the Gates leading lady Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole) to Days of Our Lives legend Stephen Nichols (Steve) has done a thriller. Luckily for Bold & Beautiful star Harrison Cone (Deke), the one he’s in is not only creepy but a darn fun ride, too.
In 2025’s Ick, the actor plays a randy high-schooler who runs afoul of the titular gunk, a parasitic alien plant species that transforms those that it attacks into… well… As you can see below, it gets very Night of the Living Dead for Cone, whose castmates include One Life to Live alumni Brandon “Superman” Routh and Jeff Fahey. Beyond the great makeup job, though, Cone is great in the flick — funny, frustrating and ultimately frightful!
Now if only Bold & Beautiful would scare up a real storyline for the heartthrob. The show promised us a big story for Deke and Remy, then seemingly banished Remy from the canvas. (We still wonder whether he’s secretly the roommate Sheila is said to have these days.) Executive producer/headwriter Bradley Bell recently teased that a new man is going to enter Deke’s life. Maybe that will turn things around.
Actually, we wonder whether the new man Bell mentioned is actually Zende, Logan’s latest hire. We haven’t seen him on so much as a date in years, so who’s to say that the character couldn’t be bi? Dare we hope that both Deke and Zende are about to be sprung from the backburner?
