The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, October 26: Lily Fires Nate – Nick’s Shocking Matt Secret

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, October 26, reveal that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will make a bold move that’ll affect Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) future.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also hold something back from Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and leave her nervous.

Y&R fans know Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) agreed to check himself in a mental health clinic if Sharon would be his therapist.

Sharon’s role was a crucial part of Matt striking that deal, so she agreed to at least try to help him.

Nick claimed he drove Matt to the psychiatric hospital and that he was “safely put away.”

However, there’s new evidence to suggest that Nick didn’t really take Matt to the psych ward that day.

Sharon will ultimately figure out that things aren’t quite as they seem, so she may inquire about Matt’s clinic stay and realize he’s not a patient there.

The staff may admit there’s no record of Matt checking in like Nick said.

Sharon will confront Nick about Matt’s true fate, but he won’t want to drag her into this.

Nick will put up a fight when it comes to telling Sharon the real story about what he did with Matt.

Does Nick have Matt imprisoned somewhere?

Sharon may worry about Matt’s mental state getting even worse depending on how Nick chose to handle the situation.

At Society, Lily will have something wonderful to share with Nate and Devon Winters (Bryton James).

Devon and Lily will be relieved to hear that Lily’s latest test results confirmed her cancer hasn’t returned.

Lily may admit it was nice to get the news and celebrate with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) before he left for London, where he intends on supporting Jill Abbott (last played by Lauren Koslow) through her heart crisis.

As for what’s next at Winters, Lily will feel optimistic now that she knows she doesn’t have to go through more cancer treatment.

This frees Lily up to focus on the company, so she’ll fire Nate from Winters and catch him off guard.

Lily will insist it’s for Nate’s own good and hope this will make him totally commit to his return to the hospital.

If Nate’s recovery stays on the right path, Lily will feel confident he’ll get back to being a surgeon again in no time.
